|"FAITH, FRIENDS, and FEELINGS”"
The story of Kandu has lesson applications of faith, friendship, and feelings for parents,

How and when are these shown at times in the story?

How do you feel when you are a part of these things? When you are not?
Who do you think needs these things most? (Trick question: Everybody!)

Talk about how to recognize feelings that show on others’ faces and body language.
Talk about the way Kandu and his friends felt at different times in the story.
Dramatize feelings and how to show love to someone who is lonely or hurting.
